Young Scientist Award
Financial support for young scientists was made possible by the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr).
The Young Scientist Award consists of a financial contribution towards the costs of travel and subsistence.
Eligible are graduate students, post-graduate students and post-doctoral fellows with a maximum age of 30
(exceptionally 35).
Application requirements:
The application for a Young Scientist Award should include the following items:
1. Letter stating that you apply for the Young Scientist Award as graduate student/PhD/postDoc,
including your affiliation and age.
2. A letter of support by your supervisor.
3. Short CV.
4. Copy of your submitted conference abstract (abstracts for poster presentation can be sent later)
5. Completed registration process.
If awarded and upon accepting a Young Scientist Award you must create an entry in the World Directory of Crystallography at http://wdc.iucr.org
All recipients of the Young Scientist Award pay a reduced registration fee of 1200 PLN.
